What is the Question?

This week, for our Independent Research Report, look into finding a question to answer. I have picked option 3, which is 3-4000 words and a visual piece of work.

I have a passion for Installations of Art, and thought this might be the route to follow. I started looking into installations and what inspires designers to create them and what they are trying to express.

I decided to create a research board to help my thought process. I find this a good tool of keeping track of my thoughts in a visual sense and help express my thoughts.

I started with looking at emotion, which is a very personal subject to me. This can be shown in art in so many ways, this started to inspire me on how i could create art to show emotion.

I found artists that show emotion through different mediums, form, colour and textures.

This then lead me to look into the question: How can emotion be expressed through art?

This may change, but its a good starting point.
